Community guidelines

Ergtopia provides the ERG Community (“the Community”)  as a space for ERG leaders and other stakeholders from across the Ergtopia partner network to connect, engage in constructive dialogue, share leading practices, and build community. Access to the ERG Community is restricted to only those who belong to an Ergtopia partner organization. By accessing the Community, you agree to abide by the following guidelines.

Respect Others

Treat all members with courtesy and respect. Be mindful of your language and tone in discussions. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or any form of disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated.

Stay on Topic

Keep discussions relevant to the purpose of the Community, which is to engage with others on topics related to ERGs, leadership, workplace inclusion, and similar topics. Off-topic posts may be removed at the discretion of the moderators.

Contribute Constructively

Strive to contribute meaningful insights, questions, or comments that add value to the conversation. Avoid spamming, trolling, or posting content solely for self-promotion. You are responsible for the content that you post or upload to the Community. Unless otherwise expressly authorized by us, in accordance with our Terms of Use, you agree not to use the Community for any commercial endeavors except those expressly authorized by us.

Respect Privacy

Do not share personal information about yourself or others without consent. Respect the confidentiality of sensitive information shared within the community. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on our privacy practices. 

Cite Sources

When sharing information or data, provide proper attribution to the original source whenever possible. This helps maintain the integrity of discussions and helps to promote accuracy.

Be Mindful of Copyright

Respect copyright laws when sharing content such as articles, images, or videos. Obtain permission or properly attribute content that is not your own. Please refer to our Terms of Use for more information.

Use Appropriate Language and Tone

Use of offensive, vulgar, or inflammatory language will not be tolerated. Keep discussions professional and courteous, even in times of disagreement.
